Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo
Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on the 2nd of December, 1981. Her most notable roles are in television and movies. Brandt started her career in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut came with her character Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade Brandt has been featured in numerous TV series, such as of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. From the year 2016 Brandt has played the character as Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer with Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt grew up at Cape Town South Africa. In her late teens, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career in ads and printed commercials. She worked as an IT recruitment consultant as well as in retail, before becoming a well-known fashion model. The role she played was Leilani an NZer in the comedy Diplomatic Immunity in 2009. In 2021, she made her debut appearance on Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz. She played a slave girl, Naevia. Her character, Naevia, was reprised in the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star in three TV series which include Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). She also was cast to portray an enigmatic bounty hunter called Mazikeen in the Netflix show Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. In this show, she is co-starring with Tom Ellis Lauren german Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
Maria Bartiromo has a number of highly popular television shows she has a track record of. She was the first American to broadcast live directly from the New York Stock Exchange. Veteran broadcaster with more than 20 years experience of covering business and the economy, she played a key role in helping CNBC to become one of the leading channels in business and economics. A highly successful journalistic life can make it appear as if Maria was always meant to pursue a career in journalism. Yet as a young woman Maria was very confused about what career to pursue. In the beginning, Maria would have liked to sing. Then she switched to interior designer. The thrill of journalism was too exciting for her to leave out. The feisty lady is an exceptional journalist as well as an example to female journalists trying to make it in an all-male society. She was named one of the "50 Faces of Decade" she became the first female journalist to join the Cable Hall of Fame. Along with being an author and columnist, Sheila is also one of the 50 faces that shaped The Decade.
