Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox was paid a allowance and worked part-time to supplement her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her profession when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox played the flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. The band did not get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. She sang lead in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. Here she met Dave Stewart who would later join Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. It was released in the year 1992. It received lots of praise, both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You Go... It is also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox launched her own solo career when she released her first album Diva in 1992. The album was the inspiration of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album that was released in 1995 features versions of some of her biggest hits, such as the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo album compilations and studio albums.
