Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and bilingual social worker. She has over 13 years' experience with non-profit organizations. She has dealt with many different groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing with substance abuse issues, victims of sexual assault as well as intimate relationship violence. She has served Erie patients in 2019 The clinic is now offering Telehealth Health services. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team, which works with postpartum and pre-natal women, provides trauma-informed therapy for adults and is a specialist in trauma-related care. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Treatment Program, referrals to specialist care and a Women's Support Group. Amanda works as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for permanent homes for homeless animals. Amanda believes in the slogan that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them all" And she's determined to turn Los Angeles into a city which doesn't harm animals. Amanda makes the most out of each day, and continuously challenges herself to meet the goals she has set and to achieve the goals she has set for herself.
